Artist Submissions

We exclusively stock food-themed works by artists based in the UK.

Artists can apply to submit an edition of existing food-themed works for sale on Artists' Tuck Shop's website and in person market pop ups.

How this works for artists?

If successful, Artists' Tuck Shop will send over a sale or return agreement to be signed by the artist. Artists' Tuck Shop will then hold an agreed quantity of your works on a sale or return basis for an agreed time period.

Artists' Tuck Shop will then take care of selling the works on your behalf via our website and in person market pop ups for the duration of the agreed time period.

Artists will receive 70% from each sale with 30% retained by Artists' Tuck Shop to cover running costs and contribute towards our art commissioning fund.

What does sale or return mean?

Sale or return is an arrangement by which a purchaser takes a quantity of goods with the right of returning surplus goods without payment. The artist can cancel the agreement at any time.

What is your art commissioning fund?

We use this to commission local artists to make special edition art products to sell exclusively via Artists' Tuck Shop. In addition to an artist fee and production budget the commissioned artists also receive the same 70% rate from each sale we make of the resulting product.

We use the 30% cut we retain from all sales to cover our running costs first but any surplus leftover then goes into this art commissioning fund.

We further fundraise for this art commissioning fund through other activities including:

  • Sales of Make Bake Cook Book - our self-published cookbook featuring recipes by artists of course!
  • Any profits made from our pop-up events programme including artist-run restaurant nights, pop up design stores, exhibitions and more!
